Kisangani
This year we support the 'Kisangani' Rural development project.
Since 15 years, in cooperation with the Faculté des Sciences of the Kisangani University and the LUC (Limburgs Universitair Centrum), work is being done for a Rural Development Network in Kisangani.
The Kisangani project works with village communities and schools. There are five subprojects.
- Agroforestry with alley cropping
- Fish farming
- Breeding of pigs, poultry and rabbits
- Cultivation of rice
- The Mbiye island: breeding, cropping and protection of the forest
